Computing for England (HTQ) HND

Our HND is a highly practical course with two pathways available in software development and computer networks. A nationally recognised Level 5 computing qualification, the HND is ideal for those who have started, or are planning to move into a career in the computing and digital industry, or who wish to progress onto the final year of a degree programme.<br/><br/>The software development pathway will give you a comprehensive understanding of database design using the Oracle DBMS and applications development using a range of platforms and technologies, including games development using the Unity/Unreal gaming engines. <br/><br/>The computer networks pathway will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of network design and security, with aspects of the CISCO CCNA qualification embedded within the curriculum.<br/><br/>The units of study reflect the latest technology innovations, and current employment opportunities within the software development and network technology industries, such as mobile app development, database design, development and management, cloud computing and network security.
