You can use our specialist linguistics lab to analyse linguistic data and apply your theoretical knowledge to everyday examples of language use. You can choose to specialise in different areas of linguistic study. This could include an exploration of:<br/><br/>Language, gender and sexuality<br/>Forensic linguistics<br/>Language and literacy<br/>Speech and language pathology<br/><br/>Your learning will focus on applying your theoretical knowledge to language data. This will help you explain how linguistic concepts and issues apply to everyday situations and the classroom.
