Veterinary medicine as a subject is centred on the treatment of a range of different animals, including domestic pets and farmyard animals.

What are my study options?
Veteran medicine is similar to a degree in medicine due to the nature of the course and only a handful of courses in the UK that will lead to graduates being able to register with the Royal College of Veteran Surgeons.
