You will develop practical research skills, including qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, and specialist counselling-related skills, which you will develop through practical sessions, role play and one-to-one supervision throughout your degree. <br/><br/>Small group teaching in seminars allows for a good staff/student ratio and a more personalised and interactive learning experience.<br/><br/>At Aberystwyth, we offer a wide range of modules that allow you to explore the varied aspects of Psychology and counselling, including specialised modules in couples therapy, romantic relationships, drugs and behaviour, plus a work placement module to enable you to gain valuable experience of working in industry.<br/><br/>Our modules are developed and taught by research-active lecturers and experts in their field, so you will benefit from the very latest information and developments in the subject, enabling you to critically engage with key issues, while exploring more specialised topics in psychology.
