This two-year Foundation degree will cover a range of themes including wildlife biology, habitat management, evolution and taxonomy, practical field research, current industry techniques and technologies. All aspects have been tailored to provide successful students with the best skill-set for their chosen industry.<br/>Making use of the on campus facilities, University Centre Askham Bryan has access to its own licensed and BIAZA accredited wildlife park, Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park. With this resource on site, students have access to a fully working collection, accessing the resources can have the ability to get involved with the park during your study. Taking part in the conservation projects the wildlife park has underway supporting your research modules. In addition to the wildlife park on site, the York campus is located in an ideal spot for access to a range of Wildlife Trust, RSPB and local nature reserves to support you in your application of the skills developed in this degree.
