Throughout the course you will have one-to-one support from your lecturers and tutors.<br/><br/>Above all, our lecturing team, who come from a range of professional and cultural backgrounds, will help you learn through real-world context, helping you understand how your new skills are best applied in practice.<br/><br/>Unit 1 Personal and Professional Development Through Inclusive Practice<br/>Unit 2 Developing Empathic Communication for Effective Therapeutic Relationships<br/>Unit 3 Preparing for Research (Pearson-set)<br/>Unit 4 Ethical Frameworks in Counselling<br/>Unit 5 Self-awareness and Reflective Practice in Counselling<br/>Unit 6 Theoretical Perspectives in Counselling<br/>Unit 7 Individual Differences<br/>Unit 8 Digital Approaches in Caring Professions<br/><br/>Entry Requirements<br/><br/>Entry requirements for Counselling and Applied Psychology is 32 UCAS Tariff points.<br/><br/>A Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English Language and Maths is also expected. Level 2 equivalents also considered.<br/><br/>Mature applicants with other qualifications or non-formal qualifications are welcome to apply.
