BMET students gain:<br/><br/>opportunities to earn digital badges for completing courses<br/>access to console and sandbox environments for lab activities<br/>access to the AWS Educate job board to become more proficient in cloud in areas like software development or cyber security<br/><br/>Additional AWS certification:<br/>Upon successful completion of the Level 4 Higher National Certificate (HNC), you will be suitably prepared to attempt the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam, with a recommendation that you will have six months of fundamental AWS Cloud and industry knowledge before taking the exam.<br/><br/>Lessons and lectures are underpinned by tutorial support and seminar presentations, assignments, individual study, group discussion, projects and Interactive Learning Technologies (ILT).<br/><br/>Year 1 (HND) – Level 5:<br/>Unit 1: Professional Practice in the Digital Economy<br/>Unit 2: Innovation & Digital Transformation<br/>Unit 3: Cyber Security<br/>Unit 4: Programming<br/>Unit 5: Big Data & Visualisation<br/>Unit 6: Networking in the Cloud<br/>Unit 8: Security<br/>Unit 9: Networking<br/><br/>Entry Requirements<br/><br/>Entry requirements for Cyber Security and Cloud Networking is 32 UCAS Tariff points.<br/>Acceptable qualifications include a minimum of one A Level or an equivalent Level 3 qualification, preferably gained in a digital IT related industry.<br/>Minimum of four GCSE’s at grade C/4 or above<br/><br/>Mature applicants with other qualifications or non-formal qualifications are welcome to apply.
