The course aims to introduce students to the theory and practical application of sports and exercise science in various environments and is designed to assist students into a wide range of careers, but with a particular focus on sports rehabilitation and massage, fitness development and healthy lifestyle development.<br/><br/>Studying will take place in a range of settings with modules being taught not just in the classroom, but also in our fitness gym, sports hall or massage suite. In addition to traditional studying methods, students will also be encouraged to use personal study time with online materials to help enhance understanding and learning throughout the course. Other opportunities available for those on this course could include additional qualifications, such as sport massage therapy, fitness instructor or taping and strapping, to boost employment potential. Anyone interested in doing this additional study should discuss this at application/interview and be aware of the additional demands/costs that would apply.<br/><br/>We offer smaller class sizes enabling supportive quality teaching and allows both one to one tuition and group work. This course has a competitive fee structure with flexible entry requirements based on your experience.
