American political issues, the Holocaust, democracy, globalisation, Parties and Voters in the UK – these are only some of the political aspects and key events you will be able to explore in detail as part of the course.<br/>As well as providing a foundation in the approaches to, and theories of, politics and international relations, the programme will develop your understanding of the importance of politics in a globalising and integrating world.<br/>This degree is designed to enable you to study international affairs in their political and historical contexts.<br/>You will address critical political questions, such as:<br/>Who has political power?<br/>Why do they have it?<br/>To whom are they accountable?<br/>In whose interest do they exercise it?<br/>What is globalisation?<br/>Is violent protest ever justified?
