Health and Social Science with Foundation Year BSc (Hons)

This course includes an additional foundation year at the start of the course which helps prepare you for full time undergraduate study at BSc level. It is a 4 year course and available to you if you didnt quite meet the entry requirements or want longer to prepare for full time study. At the end of the foundation year you will begin to study the 3 year degree plan, and you will qualify with the same degree award at the end of the course.<br/><br/>On this degree, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the socio-cultural dimensions of health and illness, alongside an in-depth exploration of the policymaking process and strategies to shape the health and wellbeing agenda at local, national, and global levels.<br/><br/>You will develop essential leadership skills and be empowered to critically analyse environmental, social, economic, and political factors, assessing their influence on health and healthcare systems, locally, nationally and globally.
