If youre interested in how science helps solve crimes, this course will give you the practical skills and knowledge needed for a career in forensic science, policing, or criminal justice.</strong><br/><br/>Youll study in purpose-built facilities, including realistic crime scene flats, a court simulation suite, and our award-winning Anatomy Learning Centre. From day one, you’ll take part in practical sessions and learn how to collect, analyse, and present evidence to professional standards.<br/><br/><strong>What you’ll learn</strong><br/>• Investigate realistic crime scenes, collecting and recording evidence using professional techniques.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Analyse forensic evidence such as DNA, blood patterns, toxicology samples, and trace materials.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Explore areas like fire investigation, fingerprints, entomology, and impression evidence.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Present your findings clearly and accurately, including in simulated courtroom environments.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• Understand how forensic work fits into the UK legal system and international investigation standards.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• This course is designed to prepare you for real careers in forensic science, law enforcement, border control, and more.
