You’ll be able to begin this course without needing to meet the standard Level 3 entry requirements, as Year 0 is designed to help you build the foundations for lifelong learning, technological innovation, and future study. Successful completion of the Foundation Year means you can progress directly into Year 1 of your degree.
Youll build the degree-level skills you need to succeed in today’s fast-moving media industries with a Media Production degree at Canterbury Christ Church University. You’ll be taught by lecturers with extensive industry experience and learn through hands-on production. From podcasting and social media content to immersive and experimental media, you’ll explore a wide range of production techniques while developing a clear creative direction of your own.
You’ll work with industry-standard software and specialist equipment, including 360-degree cameras, mobile gimbals, and motion-capture technologies. You’ll also have access to professional green screen, TV, and audio recording studios, giving you the space to experiment, refine your skills, and produce high-quality work.
Whether you aspire to become a content creator, media strategist, or innovative storyteller, as a Media Production graduate you’ll have honed your skills in your chosen specialism and be equipped to thrive in the changing media landscape.
