Television (top-up) BA (Hons)

This course covers broadcast television, studio and location work, research, scriptwriting and new media. Youll be well placed to apply for a limited number of competitive internship placements, including at STV, offering valuable hands-on experience in video, broadcast, editing and online production.<br/><br/>The course balances professional level technical production skills and research practice. We have close links with the television industry and you will enjoy the expertise of visiting specialists covering all aspects of TV production, alongside teaching staff, who have direct experience of working in the industry.<br/><br/>This course is delivered at City of Glasgow Colleges outstanding industry standard studio and production facilities and offers students a degree in Television.<br/><br/>Facilities<br/>The City of Glasgow College has recently benefited from a £230 million new build programme with state-of-the-art facilities across two sites, City campus and Riverside. The Faculty of Creative Industries is based in the City Campus at Cathedral Street, which has excellent travel, bus and train links. The Creative Industries faculty benefits from a broad range of specialist workshops, studio spaces and dedicated exhibition spaces. These are equipped with industry standard resources and supported by specialist technical staff.
