Examine, investigate and understand human life and experiences while developing a detailed understanding of the social world, the complexities of human relationships and social forces.<br/><br/>The course is made up of around 75% psychology and 25% sociology.<br/><br/>This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society and provides eligibility for the Graduate Basis for Chartership, the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.<br/><br/>In second year, students do have the option of undertaking Volunteering and Employability. Pass Access to HE Diploma in a related subject with 45 credits overall, with minimum 33 credits at grade Merit & 12 credits at grade Distinction preferably including English or a Literary subject* at Level 3. If a literary subject is not studied at Level 3, English must be studied at Level 2. Maths also required at Level 2.

Award of Diploma with 28 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 4, preferably including English or a Literary subject* at minimum grade 5. If no literary subject is achieved at HL, English must be achieved at SL grade 4. Grade 4 in SL Maths.
