The course involves invaluable practice placement opportunities across a range of settings, where you’ll have the opportunity to learn alongside skilled professionals.<br/><br/>Occupational Therapists work as part of a team, and on this course there are several opportunities to learn alongside students from a range of health and social care professions. <br/><br/>Your career<br/>When you graduate you will be eligible to apply for membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Year 1: HNCs in Occupational Therapy Support, Health Care, Social Care, Social Services, Social Science or Care and Administrative Practice are considered. Year 2: HNC Occupational Therapy: Support from Glasgow Clyde College. Applicants from this HNC can be made for year 1 or year 2. Applicants who wish to enter at year 2 will be required to attend interview as part of the admissions process.
Foundation Apprenticeship (SCQF Level 6)
Pass
Accepted as equivalent to one Higher at grade B as part of the overall grade profile of Highers required for entry. Any essential subjects at Higher should still be achieved in addition to the Foundation Apprenticeship.
