<strong>Examine the science behind the effect of nutrition on athletic performance. Use our dedicated sport performance kitchen and human performance laboratories, working with a range of athletes, including from our Championship rugby team, 10 sports academies, and recreational sports men and women.</strong><br/><br/>Your learning will be aligned with the knowledge competencies outlined by the Sports and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENR), which define the professional standards for practitioners in the field. This ensures you’ll graduate with relevant expertise and industry-recognised skills and knowledge.<br/><br/>Develop your skills using specialist dietary software, cooking and producing menus for our recreational and performance athletes across campus. You’ll be supported throughout by research-active staff who are experts in their field.<br/><br/>You’ll be encouraged to develop your practical skills, but also to think critically about existing theories and practices, as well as carrying out your own research to help shape the future of the industry. You could also boost your CV with industry qualifications and work placements opportunities, alongside our sports academy teams or externally.

BBB or equivalent from at least two full A Levels. This must include Biology, Sport or PE at grade D or above.
T Level
An overall grade of Distinction, to include grade B or above in the Core component in a Science subject. T Level subjects considered are Animal Care and Management (Science Pathway), Healthcare Science and Science. Health will be considered on an individual basis.
