Our Neuroscience with Artificial Intelligence degree combines the study of the brain with the power of AI. From exploring brain structure, behaviour, disease, and nervous system function to developing in-demand skills in programming, machine learning, data science, and algorithms, you’ll discover how AI is transforming neuroscience through complex data analysis, improved diagnosis, and ground breaking discoveries.

Neuroscience concepts are embedded throughout all levels of study, including neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neuropathology. In your first year, you’ll also build a strong foundation in core computer science topics that underpin artificial intelligence, such as programming, computer systems, and algorithm design and analysis. Building on this foundation, you’ll study key areas of artificial intelligence and data science in modules taught by Computer Science experts. Topics include data science techniques, computational intelligence, and machine learning applications, equipping you with knowledge of current methods and emerging research. You’ll apply these skills across a range of fields, with a particular focus on neuroscience.
