Our graduates pursue roles in the chemical, biotech, and pharmaceutical industries, but also in tech, finance and even law, where their analytical and problem-solving skills are invaluable.<br/><br/>Taught by leading scientists who are shaping the future of chemistry, our course provides rigorous training in core principles including physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry, as well as key mathematical skills for studying analytical and computational chemistry. Our integrated laboratory course enables you to apply your learning, and understand the power of chemistry in solving challenges and driving innovation. You will also tackle an open-ended project, helping sharpen your essential career skills like project management, communication, and teamwork.<br/><br/>You can also choose to study for our integrated Master’s course (MSci), adding a fourth year to your degree during which you’ll undertake a substantial research project. Notes: The total point score of 35 includes TOK/EE. IB students studying the new Mathematics curriculum would be required to study Mathematics - Analysis and Approaches or Mathematics - Applications and Interpretation at Higher Level to meet the Mathematics subject requirement for this programme.
