The BSc Marketing programme puts marketing at the intersection of behavioural science, data and AI; students will be immersed in experiential and analytics-driven learning; and London positioned not just as a location, but as an ecosystem embedded into live briefs and assessment. This programme aims to provide students with a rigorous foundation in marketing theory and practice, while fostering the skills, and attributes expected of graduates in this discipline.
This programme integrates sustainable development and ethical decision-making into marketing strategies and addresses wider social goals throughout the curriculum. Enterprise and entrepreneurship are promoted through experiential learning, client-based projects, and opportunities to design innovative solutions for real-world challenges.
The BSc Marketing programme is designed to:
* Provide a rigorous foundation in marketing theory and practice, enabling students to understand, apply, and critically evaluate key concepts, frameworks, and methodologies in diverse business, and societal contexts.
* Develop intellectual agility and critical thinking, equipping students to analyse complex marketing challenges, integrate interdisciplinary perspectives, and design innovative, data-driven and research-informed marketing strategies.
* Foster practical competence in research and analytics, ensuring students can design and execute marketing research projects, apply digital and analytical tools, and generate actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
* Cultivate global, ethical, and cultural awareness, preparing graduates to evaluate the implications of marketing decisions across diverse markets and stakeholder groups.
* Enhance communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, enabling students to articulate ideas effectively for academic, professional, and public audiences, and to work inclusively in diverse teams.
* Promote personal and professional development, encouraging initiative, creativity, and independent learning to thrive in dynamic and uncertain environments.
Graduates will acquire an in-depth understanding of marketing concepts, the ability to critically analyse and interpret data, competence in research and digital analytics. They will also develop transferable skills in communication, teamwork, leadership, and independent learning, alongside global and ethical awareness. The programme prepares students for professional roles in marketing and related fields, equipping them to adapt and thrive in dynamic, culturally diverse, and technologically driven environments.
