All this work means our teaching on legal, jurisprudential and socio-legal issues is always informed by the latest practice.<br/><br/>Our Research Methods in Law module will give you insight into theoretical approaches to the study of law, as well as practical guidance on research design and ethics.<br/><br/>**Carry out your own in-depth project**<br/>You’ll apply your knowledge to a dissertation which will address a key legal question or issue. Past students have looked at areas like terrorism, breaches of human rights in the garments industry, and legal issues in VR and the metaverse.<br/><br/>Carrying out your own research is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to the legal and academic community with new, original research and writing. You’ll have support from your supervisor throughout every step of the process.
