This course is designed to help you master the skills needed to craft a story and bring it to life on page or film.<br/><br/>We provide a collaborative, dynamic environment. Through small group writing workshops, you will have the opportunity to develop your stories, poetry, or scripts, with feedback from experienced writers. From pre- to post-production, you’ll gain familiarity with industry-standard film equipment and software and develop your understanding of cinematic techniques.<br/><br/>Throughout the course, you will deploy your creativity, critical thinking, and ability to communicate effectively. You will have opportunities to pursue your own interests within film and creative writing; you might, for example, explore fantasy worlds in books and games, global film practices, or film adaptations of novels. <br/><br/>Whether your goal is to create compelling narratives for film, write powerful fiction, or pursue a role in the creative industries, Lancaster’s Film and Creative Writing programme offers the ideal foundation.
