Politics and Philosophy Bachelor of Arts (with Honours) - BA (Hons)

BA (Hons) Politics and Philosophy at Manchester Met brings together two fascinating subjects to help you make sense of how society works, and how it could work better. You’ll study how political systems operate, why decisions are made, and how change happens, exploring everything from public policy and international politics to digital politics, environmentalism and global issues. At the same time, you’ll dive into philosophy’s biggest questions about human existence, morality, knowledge and meaning, engaging with influential thinkers across 2,500 years of ideas. 

This course encourages you to question what you know, rethink what matters, and consider how we can shape a better future. You’ll learn to analyse arguments, think critically and communicate your ideas clearly – skills that are valuable in careers ranging from government and policy to education, journalism and the charity sector.
