And it starts here at Northumbria University.<br/><br/>What will I study on the BSc in Networks and Cyber Security?<br/><br/>Starting with computer science essentials in your first year, you’ll become an expert in network engineering, digital security and forensics by the time you graduate. <br/><br/>You’ll learn how computers work and how networks are designed, built and configured. Plus how cybersecurity works in an age where the online world is so vulnerable to attacks.<br/><br/>Networks and cyber security is one of the fastest-growing areas of computer science. Every organisation needs protecting against cyber risk - from business to healthcare, and education to entertainment.<br/><br/>That means - when you graduate from your BSc in Networks and Cyber Security - you’ll be qualified for a valuable job AND be in high demand from a wide range of employers.<br/><br/>Will I get professional experience on the BSc in Networks and Cyber Security?<br/><br/>You’ll have plenty of chances to practice your skills. You’ll take part in a business consultancy project in your second year, delivering a cyber security project for a real-life company. This can be here in Newcastle or at our partner campus in London. <br/><br/>Plus you can opt for an optional year in industry or studying abroad.
