The recruitment process for joining police forces is separate and each police force specifies its own entry requirements. Applicants are asked to be aware that there are associated recruitment process(es) required when applying to a particular force, including passing medical and fitness tests, and background and security checks. Candidates must also undertake a series of assessments including National Recruitment processes and Force vetting, and applicants should consider this before applying to the programme.
