Building surveyors are advisors for the property and construction industry, advising clients about the design, construction, maintenance and repair of buildings.<br/><br/>This degree focuses on the key areas of a building surveyors work: building performance, regulatory compliance, specification, supervision and management of construction works and building pathology. These areas encompass a range of activities including surveys, inspections, evaluations and the maintenance and the remediation of defects.<br/><br/>Throughout the course, you’ll focus on the procurement, contract and project management of building works, with an emphasis on both new build and the extension and refurbishment of existing buildings.
