Some of these decisions can have very important effects for all of us.<br/><br/>This course provides a solid grounding in the threshold concepts underpinning economic analysis, using its distinctive perspectives to critically analyse business decision-masking. You will learn about the industry and regulatory contexts surrounding decisions in an international setting as well as develop crucial employment skills.<br/><br/>This flexible course provides a solid grounding in the main elements of economic analysis, while emphasising their application to public and private organisations, as well as to question policy.<br/><br/>Nottingham Business School enrols its economics students with The Society of Professional Economists (SPE). SPE is the leading organisation serving professional economists in the UK and has more than 600 members, drawn from all areas of the profession including finance and commerce, industry, government departments, private sector consultants, business schools and universities.<br/><br/>This course can be studied over three years full-time or four years with a placement, and offers all students the opportunity to gain some industry experience or travel overseas to study abroad in one of our partner universities with our unique opportunities scheme.<br/><br/>Nottingham Business School at NTU is EQUIS and AACSB accredited and ranked in the Top 20 in the UK for Economics according to the Guardian University Guide 2024. We enrol our economics students with The Society of Professional Economists (SPE).
