This course will increase your understanding of current education issues and equip you with the skills and knowledge to enhance your career.<br/><br/>This stimulating course takes a broad view of education, covering themes such as innovation in teaching and learning, globalisation, leading change, mentoring, Special Educational Needs (SEN) and inclusive practice and social justice. Designed with an international perspective to meet the needs of students from across the world, it explores in depth the global forces that influence education, encouraging you to relate your learning to your context.<br/><br/>**Why do an MA in Education?**<br/>A Masters is increasingly seen as an essential qualification for enhancing reflective practice, and to provide access to senior educational positions<br/>in a variety of professional settings.<br/><br/>**What is the structure of the course?**<br/>Students study three core modules and two optional modules from a choice of six. These modules are compulsory for all full-time and part-time students<br/>with no Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) credits.<br/><br/>Completing 60 and 120 credit points contributes towards two exit awards. These are: <br/>- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (on achieving 60 credits)<br/><br/><br/>- Postgraduate Diploma in Education (on achieving 120 credits).<br/><br/><br/>The MA Education is awarded after achieving 180 credits.
