Radio, Audio and Podcasting CertHE

Our CertHE Radio, Audio & Podcasting course covers a wide range of skills and knowledge required for working in the radio and audio industry. Students will learn radio production/broadcasting skills, interview techniques, presenting skills, podcast creation, radio and audio branding and how the radio and audio industry works.<br/><br/>The curriculum has been designed to reflect industry, with an emphasis on practical skills using the latest software/technology and industry practices. Our lecturers have extensive industry experience and expertise in facilitating learning at HE level and getting students into jobs in radio. In addition to industry-based techniques, valuable graduate skills, sought-after by employers, are embedded into the programme including presentation/communication skills, and how to effectively research, develop, plan, and present creative ideas. Radio courses at pointblank have kick-started the career of hundreds of radio professionals who have worked for some of the biggest stations in the UK including BBC Radio 1, BBC 1Xtra, and Rinse FM.<br/><br/>This course enables students to develop a portfolio of tangible work that can be used to secure employment in this dynamic and expanding industry.
