The course encourages reflective practice, critical evaluation, and the application of research-informed approaches. Study also supports progression through National Governing Body (NGB) awards and ongoing professional development within the outdoor sector.<br/><br/>Successful completion supports progression into employment, further qualifications, or degree-level study.

Applicants should have successfully completed a full Level 3 qualification in a related discipline, such as Outdoor Education. Applications will also be considered from individuals with alternative academic backgrounds who can demonstrate relevant experience and a genuine passion for the outdoors.

GCSEs at Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths are required.
