Get hands-on from day one, combining practical lab sessions with real-world case studies to explore how drugs act in the body, how the body handles them and how safer, better medicines are developed. Learn in our £36.9m Bios facility with advanced teaching labs and a patient-simulation suite for clinically relevant skills. You also have access to specialist equipment at the National Horizons Centre.<br/><br/>Explore molecules and cells while gaining clinical and regulatory insights to see how scientific discovery translates into real-world health impact – culminating in a research project of your choice. Build practical lab skills, confident data and digital skills, and a strong grounding in ethics and regulation.
