This programme of learning is designed to meet skills gaps in the current workforce and to enable progression into a career in the computing industry. <br/><br/>The development of specialist skills including network design, computer architecture, software development and systems, web design and system security. <br/><br/>Course run: 2 years for 12 hours per week .<br/><br/>The Higher National Diploma (HND) is a Level 4 and Level 5 qualification made up of 240 credits studied over two years <br/><br/>Students may progress to a Top-up degree at university to complete the final stages of a degree in this subject area. This may include:<br/><br/>BSc (Hons) Computing <br/>BSc (Hons) in Applied Computing <br/>BSc (Hons) in Business and Computing. <br/><br/>On completion students may develop their career in this sector by entering or continuing existing employment.
