The BA (Hons) Football Broadcast and Journalism undergraduate degree in Football Broadcast and Journalism will provide UA92 students with the opportunity to develop the skills and competencies required to excel in the multimedia industry of football broadcast and journalism.

The BA (Hons) Football Broadcast and Journalism undergraduate degree in Football Broadcast and Journalism will provide UA92 students with the opportunity to develop the skills and competencies required to excel in the multimedia industry of football broadcast and journalism. <br/>Students will explore content and hone suitable skills for a variety of behind-the-scenes production roles within the football broadcast industry, alongside public facing career roles, including football presenting, reporting, commentary and punditry. <br/>They will also learn how to create a range of football related multimedia content for social media, podcast, radio and television platforms.<br/><br/>Students will develop key skills in football research, production idea development, interviewing, writing and editing, as well as in the operation of professional standard production equipment. <br/>They will also regularly engage with media law, ethics, regulations, industry codes of practice, as well as football data and player performance analysis, plus the study of the business of football, marketing and branding.<br/><br/>The curriculum will see learners work collaboratively with UA92 sporting and business partners to gain industry experiences, engage with the thriving football community, and play an active role in the expanding coverage of the female game, in line with UA92 values of equity and representation.
