Self-generated briefs give you control over your learning.</strong><br/><br/>At Level 4, you will learn fundamental skills across various applied art and design areas. This level allows you to experiment, learn, and have fun trying new things.<br/><br/>At Level 5, you will specialise in an area of your interest based on the insights you gained about yourself and your talents during Level 4. You will conduct research to understand how to break into your chosen market. This degree offers the freedom to create work that will help you enter the industry, allowing you to develop briefs that address your own identified needs. You will have opportunities to collaborate with industry professionals on external briefs, building a strong portfolio of relevant work. Throughout this process, experienced staff will support you in further developing your skills.<br/><br/>Finally, Level 6 is focused on you and your chosen career. You will begin by researching and creating an academic piece that showcases your knowledge, which informs your Final Major Project. You will spend your entire last year creating an outstanding piece of work to professional standards. This project will serve as your launchpad into your desired design industry, whether it be in applied art, 2D, 3D, or moving image. The staff will help you identify your real strengths and guide you on how to pursue them effectively.
