Learn how to excel in an international business environment. Develop your management and intercultural skills, get work experience and become fluent in French.<br/><br/>Gain specialised knowledge of the international business environment and the global economy. Learn the fundamentals of management while studying business in a foreign language.<br/><br/>We teach all units covering language, history, politics and culture in French. This includes some units that focus on the business context. This combination of language and business will help you understand the professional environment in French-speaking countries, preparing you for your time abroad.<br/><br/>Two leading departments deliver this course: the School of Management and the Department of Politics, Languages & International Studies.<br/><br/>Years 1 and 2<br/>Youll study economics, finance and organisational behaviour. Youll also learn about the history and culture of French-speaking countries.<br/><br/>In Year 2, youll prepare for your year abroad by learning more about working, studying and doing business in French.<br/><br/>Year 3<br/>Spend up to 12 months in a French-speaking country. You’ll have the flexibility to choose an International Academic Exchange, a work placement or a combination of both.<br/><br/>Final year<br/>Specialise by choosing from a range of management units. Optional units in French will further develop your linguistic expertise and cultural knowledge.

AB in two Advanced Highers including B in French. We make offers based on Advanced Highers. You will typically be expected to have completed five Scottish Highers and your grades in these will be considered as part of your application. We prefer applicants who have achieved at least AAABB in their Highers.

Typical Offer: AAB in three A levels including B in French A level Contextual offer: BBB or ABC in three A levels including grade B in French. Alternative Offer with additional study: ABB in three A levels including grade B in French plus additional study - please see the course pages on our website.
Typical offer: Distinction and A* plus B at A level D overall with grade A* in the core component in a T Level plus grade B in A level French or another qualification that meets the B2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
