Mathematics BSc (Hons)

Our BSc Mathematics with Industrial Year will build on your passion for mathematics and challenge you across a broad range of subject areas. With analytical and problem-solving skills you will stand out in a highly competitive job market with our recent graduates securing positions in finance, management, computing and many other sectors including teaching and healthcare.<br/><br/>This programme will help you learn to apply analytical, statistical and computational skills to formulate and tackle problems. We will support you to think logically, independently and imaginatively, equipping you to make the most of the opportunities ahead. In your third year you will go on your industrial placement, developing your mathematical as well as your computer skills. Then in your fourth year, you will return to the University and have a broad range of modules to choose from.
