With real workplace experience and expertise, you’ll begin your journey to becoming a Chartered Engineer.<br/><br/>Prepare for roles such as designing, manufacturing, installing and testing anything from nanoscale robots to spacecraft. You’ll learn to tackle engineering challenges and to play a leading role in building a sustainable future. Explore and enhance career options and spend a year working in industry.<br/><br/>From mechanics and computing to sustainable energy, you’ll learn the essentials then specialise before enjoying a year on placement. You’ll be able to attend lectures on industrial design projects from companies such as Rolls-Royce and Jaguar Land Rover.<br/><br/>Benefit from learning in our state-of-the-art building with Design Centres and the Makerspace where you’ll apply your new skills in a practical training facility. You can even join student activity teams to design, build and race cars in global competitions. You’ll work alongside students in other engineering disciplines, so you graduate with interdisciplinary experience.
