Learn how to extract knowledge from data and graduate ready for a range of careers.<br/><br/>Understand the laws that make up the natural world, discover how to use machine learning and AI as a physicist. You could be analysing data collected by the particle accelerators at CERN or applying artificial intelligence to detect exoplanets from telescope data.<br/><br/>Our academics are global experts in their fields and will help you step up to university-level physics. Choose from topics such as quantum mechanics and the life and death of stars. You’ll benefit from using state-of-the-art study spaces, computing suites and laboratories.<br/><br/>Our research spaces include our own particle accelerators, the MC40 cyclotron for charged particles and HF-ADNeF, the most intense accelerator driven neutron source worldwide, as well as labs used for the construction of the detectors and electronics in experiments at the Large Hadron Collider, CERN.<br/><br/>As a Birmingham Physics graduate with data science skills, youll have an exciting future ahead of you.
