The BSc Education Studies with Study Abroad explores how learning happens at all ages, from very young children to older adults. You will learn about education in a range of settings; from schools and universities to online communities, social movements, workplaces and care homes. You will develop expertise in UK education and will study education from global, international and comparative perspectives.<br/><br/>The course currently includes an optional placement unit, Education in Practice, where you can apply your learning and gain valuable workplace experience through a placement in a school, charitable organisation, business, museum, community group, or research setting.<br/><br/>If you achieve the required grades at the end of the first year, you will spend your third year at a partner institution overseas, for example the US, Australia or Hong Kong.
