Management Studies PhD with Integrated Study

Note: Applications directly to the PhD are only accepted from students who are completing (or have completed) a CJBS research MPhil, or from students completing the MPhil Economics Research at Cambridge (please see departmental website for the specific MPhil needed for each PhD pathway).<br/><br/>The PhD Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School is designed to prepare students for an academic career in a business school. It develops PhD students who challenge conventional wisdom and advance knowledge through innovative theory and empirical research leading to publications in top-tier academic journals.<br/><br/>The educational aim is to teach students to undertake research and produce papers for publication in top-tier journals in one of the management disciplines:<br/><br/><br/>- Finance<br/>- Marketing<br/>- Operations & Technology Management<br/>- Business Economics<br/>- Organisational Behaviour<br/>- Organisational Theory & Information Systems<br/>- Strategic Management<br/>- Accounting<br/><br/><br/>The first year of the PhD course is probationary. Students are assessed on the basis of a first-year report or comprehensive examination, and a series of coursework modules.
