Our midwifery education team is supported by internationally renowned researchers in midwifery and infant nutrition.<br/><br/><br/>- You’ll go on clinical placements in NHS Trusts throughout the region, gaining hands-on experience in a range of settings on the frontline of the midwifery profession.<br/><br/><br/>- We have dedicated staff who provide a link between the University and our clinical placement sites. These lectures are available whenever you need advice and support.<br/><br/><br/>**Accreditations**<br/><br/>This course is validated by the NMC, the nursing and midwifery regulator for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.<br/><br/>**Future careers**<br/><br/>Your midwifery qualifications and experience will offer a wide range of options to further develop your career. After completing the course you will become a registered midwife, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). You’ll then have the opportunity to apply to work as a midwife within the NHS or in other independent midwifery settings. You may also have opportunities to work nationally or internationally.
