Physical Education (Secondary Years) BA (Hons)

A recent study by the Youth Sports Trust found that two-thirds of secondary school PE students do not enjoy (competitive) PE. Furthermore, only 8% of girls and 16% of boys are meeting daily recommended activity levels. We need you to help change this! <br/><br/>This programme is specifically designed to provide you with the practical, professional and academic skills that are needed to prepare you for a successful career as a secondary school PE teacher. You will have the flexibility to choose modules that suit your interests and allow you to specialise in a field of your choice. <br/><br/>You will spend a large proportion of your time in practical sessions and on teaching placements. This course takes a ‘hands on’ approach so you can learn by doing. <br/><br/>Training high quality secondary PE teachers has been at the heart of the University of Chichester for generations; it is what we do!
