It is a cultural and scientific powerhouse; an advanced economy with the ninth largest nominal GDP in the world. <br/><br/>On this programme, you will learn the Italian language in the context of Italian culture, including influential works of literature, art and cinema.<br/><br/>You will develop your ability to read, write and speak the language to a high professional standard, gaining an awareness of different registers and styles.<br/><br/>From our own Italian Society to the Italian Cultural Institute, you will find many places in Edinburgh to develop your interest in Italy. <br/><br/>**International business**<br/><br/>You will specialise in international business in Year 2 and you will have a compulsory study year abroad in Year 3 at one of our international partner institutions in Italy. <br/><br/>**Who the programme is for**<br/>This programme is particularly suitable if you are looking for a breadth of international business understanding.
