Exeter has also recently been awarded UNESCO City of Literature status.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• You can choose to study any of our languages from beginners: Chinese (Mandarin); French; German; Italian; Portuguese; Russian; or Spanish<br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>If you wish to study a Beginners language from Year 1, you must spend your third year in the country of that language and therefore will need to apply for the 4-year variant.</strong>
