Microbiology BSc (Hons)

**Microbiology** is the study of all aspects of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses and parasites including their identification, transmission, interaction with the host in disease and the growing problem of antimicrobial resistance.<br/><br/>You’ll receive practical training in aspects of epidemiology at the Marine Biology Station at Millport in the Firth of Clyde. You will have the opportunity to include a specialisation in Bacteriology, Parasitology or Virology.
