**Why Criminology and Sociology?**<br/>Our Criminology and Sociology degree will give you the skills you need for a successful and rewarding career, creating safer and stronger communities. You’ll explore the causes and consequences of crime and disorder and how communities respond to the challenges of a changing social world. With a practical focus and opportunities to gain experience working with organisations such as Cheltenham Borough Council, Cheltenham Foodbank and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, our graduates stand out from the competition. There are also opportunities for field studies in UK locations such as Newquay and Belfast, and in international settings such as Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina (additional costs may apply, see course web page for details).<br/><br/>You’ll draw on the expertise of experienced lecturers and optional modules allow you to tailor your study to match your own career ambitions.
