**Why Education, Inclusion and Special Educational Needs?**
Our Education, Inclusion and Special Educational Needs degree will give you the knowledge and experience to create inclusive environments and graduate prepared for a rewarding career. You’ll investigate contemporary issues in the field, examining approaches to supporting all learners. As well as building an understanding of theories relating to education in its broadest sense, you’ll study specific profiles such as ASD, attachment, ADHD, mental health and dyslexia. We’ll also support you to identify your own particular interests and to achieve your individual career goals, encouraging you to explore and develop personal values and philosophies. There’s even the opportunity to pursue specialisms by choosing modules from courses outside education, such as Psychology, Early Childhood Studies, English, Sociology, Social Work and more.

Opportunities for placements and visits in a variety of settings will give you the chance to consider future employment options, enhance your CV and put your learning into practice. You can therefore take advantage of our extensive links with local providers of education and specialist provision to gain experience in environments such as special schools, children’s centres, assessment centres, further education colleges, EAL/EFL/ESOL contexts, youth centres and pastoral support organisations.

**Why University of Gloucestershire?**
At University of Gloucestershire, we’ve been encouraging students to meet every ambition since 1847.
