You’ll not only graduate as a qualified teacher, but will build the specialist skills needed to progress as an outstanding subject leader in the area you’re passionate about. Alongside building your maths expertise, you will also specialise in a second foundation such as geography or computing. With opportunities to gain work experience through our network of over 400 schools, in educational environments including big city academies, village schools and special educational needs settings, our graduates stand out from the competition.

You’ll draw on the specialist subject knowledge of our lecturers and the exceptional teachers you’ll work alongside on placements, with a large proportion of our partner schools being graded ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted. Through our strategic partnership in the GLOWMaths Hub, which connects maths education specialists to spread learning excellence, you will benefit from exposure to the very latest in international best practice. For example, the England-China project connects teachers from Shanghai with local schools, to enhance their approach to maths teaching and learning.

**Why University of Gloucestershire?**
At University of Gloucestershire, we’ve been encouraging students to meet every ambition since 1847.
