Primary Teaching Studies

**This is your chance to make a real difference to the next generation of thinkers, makers and dreamers.**<br/><br/>Here, you will learn about education from many different viewpoints from across the world. You will think about curriculum, learning, teaching and what inspires children to grow and flourish.<br/><br/>Our innovative two-year degrees provide an opportunity to gain a first degree while focussing on your future ambition of becoming a teacher. This is ideal if youre convinced you want to teach primary school children, if youre thinking of changing your career, or if youre looking to gain a specialist first degree. Youll focus on key issues in education and schooling, and have opportunities for work-based experience in the UK or overseas, and be introduced to education-related research.<br/><br/>We have guest lectures and visits from members of the local educational community as well as visits to a range of education-related settings. You will have the chance to explore topics of particular interest to you and to develop your communication and research skills.<br/><br/>This course is distinctive as it has been specially designed to be studied over two years, supported by our enthusiastic and expert staff team.<br/><br/>After you graduate, you can go on to work in schools as an unqualified teacher, or start initial teacher training leading to Qualified Teacher Status (e.g. PGCE).<br/><br/>**Official Team GB partners**<br/><br/>Did you know that the University of Hull is the official University Partner of Team GB?
