Youll gain excellent observation skills, critical thinking and analysis, plus a range of people skills.<br/><br/>You’ll learn about different approaches and techniques to support people dealing with a wide range of mental health issues. This includes bereavement, domestic violence, relationship issues and much more.<br/><br/><strong>Why study with us</strong><br/><br/><br/>• Your degree will be taught in short, focused blocks, allowing you to study one module at a time.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• You’ll develop an understanding of psychology, as well as counselling skills.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• You’ll have various opportunities for work experience including volunteering, paid employment or placements.<br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>What youll do</strong><br/><br/><br/>• While you’ll study core modules in both psychology and counselling, you’ll also have the flexibility to choose optional modules in other areas of psychology.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• You can choose to study abroad or complete a placement year, helping you gain real-world experience.<br/><br/><br/><br/>• In your final year, you’ll take on a research project where you can take an in-depth look at a topic of your choice. <br/><br/><br/><br/><strong>Future Careers</strong><br/><br/>You will gain excellent observation, critical thinking and people skills, which are highly sought after by employers.
