On our BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science, youll learn about the health benefits of exercise and what it takes for people to perform at their best.<br/><br/>On this course, you’ll study how the body responds to exercise. Youll focus on physiology, psychology, and biomechanics, giving you an in-depth understanding of movement. Youll gain practical skills in our advanced sports science labs and real-world settings. Plus, you can tailor your studies to focus on either health and fitness or performance.<br/><br/>The North West is known for its rich sporting history, and is home to many sports clubs and organisations. We’ll help you find placements and opportunities within these networks. Here, you will build experience and grow your professional connections while you study.<br/><br/>In your final year, youll take on a research project, giving you a deep dive into a specific area of sport and exercise science that interests you most. Along with our employability module, this will prepare you for the job market or further study.<br/><br/>With the hands-on experience, expert knowledge, and industry skills youll gain, youll be ready for a range of rewarding career paths when you graduate.
